Harlekin-Baby-Mütze

Harlequin Baby Hat is an easy knitting pattern with detailed round-by-round instructions. The pattern includes 3 sizes, from newborn up to 18 months.

The hat is knitted in the round on circular needles, and the top is sewn together with simple stitches. A link to a video showing how to make a simple tassel/pom-pom is included.

Skill level: Easy

Needles:
3 mm (US 2.5), 40 cm (16 in) circular needles for the rib
4 mm (US 6), 40 cm (16 in) circular needles for the hat

Yarn requirements:
50 (60) 70 g / approx. 115 (138) 161 yd + yarn for the tassel
(yardage based on Drops Merino Extra Fine)

Yarn suggestions: Drops Merino Extra Fine, Debbie Bliss Rialto DK or Cascade 220 Superwash Merino

You can use any other yarn as long as you match the tension.

1 ball of Drops Merino Extra Fine = 50 g / 105 m (115 yd).

Tension:
22 stitches x 28 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) in stocking stitch on 4 mm (US 6) needles
