Worked flat, the hat is knitted back and forth and seamed together at the end. 3.5 mm (US 4) straight or circular needles for the hat
For knitting in the round: 40 cm (16 in) circular needles, plus 3.5 mm (US 4) double-pointed needles or magic loop for the crown
Yarn requirements: approx. 40–50 g / 92–115 yd (yardage based on Drops Merino Extra Fine)
Yarn suggestions: Drops Merino Extra Fine, Debbie Bliss Rialto DK or Cascade 220 Superwash Merino
You can use any other yarn as long as you match the tension.
